2:05 Deauville - Sarkiyla (5/2) - 3pt win - Been supplemented by the Aga Khan and if she turns out in the same form as her last run then she should go  very close to winning. (1st)

3:35 Salisbury - Devdas (4/1) - 3pt win - This horse has been well supported and is clearly capable of winning off its current mark. It wasn't given the best of rides by Buick LTO as he hit the front too soon and was swamped in the final furlong. Today's race should be run to suit and he should have a good chance. Kaafel is also thought to be a strong e/w bet and is a progressing type. [Devdas is now a non runner so will be having a 3pt win bet on Kaafel at 11/2] . (UP)

4:25 Beverly - Kalk Bay (3/1) - 3pt win - Returned to form in fine style last time out after changing yards. The step up in trip and the change of scenery has clearly brought about significant improvement and he still well handicapped on his old form for William Haggis. If he is in the same shape and form as last time then he should complete a brace. (1st - SP 5/1)

4:40 Salisbury - OETZI (6/1) - 6pt Max Bet - Horse has been laid out for this race and nothing else but a win will be sufficient. (1st)


6:00 Beverly - Johnny Lester Hare (5/1) - 1pt e/w - A confirmed front runner and previous race winner looks certain to get an uncontested lead here. He is back on his last winning mark and his recent run at Ripon should have him primed for this contest. (UP)


6:15 Southwell - Henry Allingham (4/1) - 3pt win - Due to the age/weight concessions and Dominic Fox's claim, he finds himself in an ideal position to strike and with the surface,draw and likely race pace in his favour I would be very surprised if this horse didn't go very close to winning the race for a stable which is in red hot form. (1st)
