Very short of time today so I will be posting a few selections now but will update the blog throughout the day and later this evening with a few more selections.
Starting Bank 610.21 points
3:45 Kempton - Barbican (13/2) - 10 point win - I received a very strong word for this horse today and he is expected to be difficult to beat. He has a good record at the track and having watched a replay of his recent run at Meydan a few times he looks to be a horse which will stay the distance. Looks like great value and is definitely worth a punt.
4:20 Kempton - West Leake Diman (18/1) - 1pt e/w - Received a good message for this horse today and the yard expect him to at least be pitching for a place at the finish. Dettori retains the ride and this horse is definitely capable of challenging the likes of Gusto etc on his day so I'm hopeful he will run a good race.
5:40 Southwell - Meet Me at Dawn (6/1) - 3pts e/w - Interesting little race this and although its not a great race in terms of calibre of horse, I believe there may be some value to be found in my selection. The horse sneaks into the race of what is a feather weight (10lb claimer on board), he will have no problem with the distance or ground and off his current mark I believe there is still a bit of room for improvement. I have also had 1pt e/w on a CSF with WORTH A KING (11/4)
Total Bets Placed = 20 points
So that completes my first three selections for today. I'm waiting for a confirmation call about the big INFO runner later and will also be doing a few more write ups for Cheltenham, Kelso and Dundalk later on in the day.
