About Me
- Racing101
- For the past few years, I have dedicated the majority of my time to horse racing. I have become an established member of numerous racing forums and I am sure a few of you will have seen my 'Please Ignore' threads on GG and Everythinghorseracing.co.uk (great forum). In my spare time I also advise a number of parties concerning bloodstock and dosage profiles. In the last 5 years I have formulated numerous selection filters and rating systems which have allowed me to achieve substantial profit on a yearly basis. I have also established links with a number of stables, and receive regular info which I will share on the blog as and when I receive it. For me horse racing is a passion and I'm always looking at ways to improve, both as a tipster and as an equine enthusiast. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to contact me either via email at myhorseracing101@gmail.com or via twitter at horses4course.

ANTI POST INFO
16 May 2012
3:00 YORK - DEFINIGHTLY (16/1) - Very strong word received for this horse after the withdrawal of the stables two other entries due to the ground. Connections will be performing rain dances in the next few days as the softer it gets the better this horse will be. With heavy rain forecast the price of this one is certain to shorten and therefore ew anti-post bets would seem to be the way forward.

Totally respect your info but last time out Mayson wore Definightly down brilliantly over 5f and if it had of been ran over 6f then Mayson would have beaten him by even more. Mayson also loves the soft ground as well and has hit terrific form this season. Like I say your info is great and I would never doubt it but I really do think Mayson has the beating of Definightly at York especially over 6f which is Mayson's optimum trip.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get 16/1?
ReplyDeleteGot it at VC but now into 14's and 12's with most firms.
DeleteYou make some valid comments Paul but you have to remember that Definightly is also much better horse over 6f and Mayson had the advantage of race fitness last time out. Like you I believe that Mayson will be very difficult to beat if he runs to the same level of form but to be honest at 16/1 I would be happy if Definightly chases him home for second place once again. Connections just feel that the softening ground and the additional conditioning should give the horse a very good chance of reversing the form as he performed above all expectations LTO anyway.
ReplyDeleteHi the ground is drying out now, would you still be confident for Definightly if it were good to soft? Just because he has never won on that ground where as Mayson has 3 wins from 4 runs on it.
ReplyDeleteThaks
No I definitely wouldn't be as confident mate as the horse will need some cut, hopefully the weather gods will smile kindly on us in the next 24 hours.
