Those of you that have come here via GG.com will know that over the last year I have been receiving some solid info from the Hills yard. The yard send two runners to Windsor tomorrow which has always been a happy hunting ground for them and having just received the call I will now relay what I have been told below.
2:00 Maiden - REGAL DAN is a Dark Angel progeny who is all about speed, he is an April foal but has been training well at home and has been recording some nice times on the gallops against some of the stables other promising juveniles. The horse has plenty of first time out winners in its bloodline including the very smart Star Rover. Although connections don't see him as a real highflyer they certainly believe that he can go on to hold his own in good handicap races. The yard have done a great job getting the horses ready and they are quietly confident that he should run a very good race tomorrow provided that the ground stays firm as he may well be withdrawn if there is further rain. The advice from my guy was to a have a mid-stakes win bet as the odds are likely to be in the region of 3/1 and therefore e/w bets are not viable.
The other runner on the card for the yard is DESERT STRIKE (10/1) in the 5:00 and the yard are really looking to use the race as a fact finding mission as its the first run for the yard on turf since arriving at the camp. The course has always been seen as an AW performer although on first impressions connections believe they may be able to find a few races for him on the turf. My guys opinion is that the race tomorrow doesn't look particularly strong and at the bottom of the handicap the horse may have an e/w shout but stakes should be limited.
My man also told me that there is a lot of confidence behind the Cecil runner (INTERLOCKING) in the 4:00 at Windsor. There is apparently going to be a big gamble on this horse so if you are going to back it I suggest that you get on this one as soon as possible.
I will be spending a few hours looking at the 2 cards tonight and if I find anything that catches my eye I will be posting up the horses tomorrow morning.
About Me
- Racing101
- For the past few years, I have dedicated the majority of my time to horse racing. I have become an established member of numerous racing forums and I am sure a few of you will have seen my 'Please Ignore' threads on GG and Everythinghorseracing.co.uk (great forum). In my spare time I also advise a number of parties concerning bloodstock and dosage profiles. In the last 5 years I have formulated numerous selection filters and rating systems which have allowed me to achieve substantial profit on a yearly basis. I have also established links with a number of stables, and receive regular info which I will share on the blog as and when I receive it. For me horse racing is a passion and I'm always looking at ways to improve, both as a tipster and as an equine enthusiast. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to contact me either via email at myhorseracing101@gmail.com or via twitter at horses4course.
